If you do not want the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must decline or opt-out of coverage by submitting a waiver. You may only opt-out of coverage during the following Waiver Periods:

يتم تسجيل جميع الطلاب الدوليين تلقائيًا في برنامج التأمين الصحي للطلاب (SHIP) التابع لجامعة بيسول. تُضاف رسوم التأمين إلى حسابات الطلاب. في حال وجود تغطية تأمين صحي بديلة، يمكن تقديم طلب إعفاء.

لإعفاء الطلاب من برنامج التأمين الصحي الجامعي (SHIP)، تشترط الجامعة تقديم ما يثبت حصولهم على تغطية تأمينية مماثلة لتلك التي يوفرها البرنامج. يُرجى العلم بأن طلب الإعفاء سيخضع للمراجعة والتحقق من سريانه لدى شركة التأمين. 

• Policy provides Medical Benefits (Ex. Both emergency and non-emergency health care and mental health care benefits) of at least $100,000 per accident or illness.
• A deductible no greater than $500 per accident or illness.
• Coverage for repatriation of remains (a minimum of $25,000 toward such expenses or, if an amount is not specified, the policy must specify coverage of all reasonable and necessary expenses for repatriation.)
• Medical evacuation coverage is equal to or greater than $50,000.
• The claims administrator is based in the United States and has a US telephone number, address for submission of claims. *Students will be responsible for submitting their own claims.
